INFO
Approximately 2,500,000 individuals suffer from Multiple Sclerosis, with 200 new cases diagnosed each week. Using “six degrees of separation”, over 625,000,000 people are affected in some way by MS. Because this disease affects the central nervous system and can impair movement, turning simple physical activities into exhausting ordeals, the rally cry throughout the MS community has been “Keep Moving!”
During professional golf tournaments, Saturday is known as “Moving Day”; this is the time when players strive to move into the top positions on the leader board, which will give them the best odds for winning.
Together, Moving Day for MS and the PGA Tour provide a platform for awareness in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis through a series of select tournaments throughout the season.
DONATE
The rally cry for the MS community has been “Keep Moving!” and Moving Day for MS is an international program connecting the world of golf with advancements in the fight against Multiple Sclerosis. Through our alliances with dedicated partners, the goal is to raise in excess of $10,000,000.00 to conquer MS.
Half of the individuals diagnosed with MS suffer from a steady worsening of symptoms. While new and powerful disease-fighting drugs have been developed to combat these problems, but there is currently not enough information to tell how effective they are long-term.
Move us closer to a world without Multiple Sclerosis. Your donation will help support research, programs and more.
